My unicorns is the most beautiful of them all!

Every year there is the biggest game jam in the world: the Global Game Jam. All over the world people are trying to make a fun game in just 48 hours and it must be based on a theme that will be given at the beginning of the game jam. In 2014 I joined this game jam, where the theme was "We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are".

After a brainstorm we decided to make a controller based local multiplayer game about children, because children often uses their imagination to fully immerse into their game. Four children are playing with their wooden horses on the schoolterrain. They are imaginating they are princes and princesses with unicorns. The princes and princessen are holding a tournament to see which one has the best unicorn. But when the game is over the children turns back to the real world and discover they played too hard and really hurted the other children.
